Remi could prosper in changing of Garde

Garde, 41, is the assistant manager at French champions Lyon.

His contract runs out in the summer and reports in France claim he has already opened talks with Arsenal officials about a director of football role, which would include many of Dein's duties.

Dein was forced out of his job as vice-chairman last month, leaving Arsene Wenger without his trusted ally in the boardroom.
