Ricky Ponting unfazed by Australia's Twenty20 flop

With 100 days to go before the Ashes series begins with the First Test in Cardiff on 8 July, Ponting's men are licking their wounds after two successive Twenty20 defeats to the Proteas, who triumphed by 17 runs in Centurion last night.
Yet despite the 2-0 series defeat, Ponting claims South Africa's good form will have no bearing on the five-match one-day series.
The Australia captain said: "I don't really take much from series to series as far as momentum goes. Quite often, you have a vast changeover of personnel in each team. I'd be surprised if the South Africans go into the first one-day game with the same team.
"You want to win every game that you play and you give your absolute best. But as far as any of this carrying over to Friday, I'd be surprised if South Africa are even talking that way about it."
Left-arm seamer Nathan Bracken was clubbed for 44 runs from his four overs but Ponting insisted: "Nathan will be spot-on on Friday."
