Rio Ferdinand injury fear

Rio Ferdinand has handed Manchester United an injury scare after limping off against Ukraine.

Ferdinand, who missed last week's friendly against Slovakia with a groin problem, is now doubtful to face Aston Villa on Sunday.

England coach Fabio Capello didn't confirm the nature of the injury, but said: "He was in a bit of pain and I will have to speak to the doctor."

Nemanja Vidic and Wayne Rooney are suspended for the Villa game while United have injury worries over Dimitar Berbatov (ankle) and Anderson (thigh).

United have lost their last two League games and could go into the match having been replaced at the top of the table by Liverpool, who are just one point behind and play Fulham on Saturday.
