Robben regrets his diving days

Arjen Robben was called every name under the sun by English football fans for his habit of diving while at Chelsea. Every name that is except perhaps 'klootzak'.

But this was how the Holland winger described himself as he finally admitted to overdoing the theatrics during three seasons at Stamford Bridge.

For those not fluent in Dutch swear words, 'klootzak'is about as strong as it gets, despite its literal translation being 'bag of b******s'.

Robben, who moved to Real Madrid in the summer, said: "It was not right what I did in England. My parents and my wife have been critical and have raised the matter with me. I have held my hand up and I said I have been stupid."
