Robinson: I don't want to leave Spurs

Paul Robinson has vowed to remain the No 1 at Tottenham.

The Spurs keeper has been linked with a £6m move to Manchester City in the January transfer window as new boss Juande Ramos wants to shake up his squad.

But Robinson told the Ham&High: "We will see what happens and whether he makes any signings, but I am confident I'm the No 1 at this club and that it will stay that way."

And the England international claims he will have a say in who will replace Hans Segers as goalkeeping coach.

"I have not got a goalkeeping coach at the moment," he added.

"Perry Suckling has been looking after me since Hans left the staff. But I will talk to the sporting director Damien Comolli this week. I am in close conversation with Damien about who the next man should be."
