Top scorer: Suzana Pitelli caused a storm by baring all in Brazil
A stripper cheekily named after Brazil star Ronaldinho has landed her local football club in hot water after posing nude in their stadium.
Suzana Pitelli stripped and posed on the pitch, the substitutes' bench and in the changing rooms at Brazilian club Coritiba to promote her show at the nearby Cafe Paris Night Club.
The stunt prompted complaints from the team's fans and Coritiba president Jair Cirino ordered an investigation after insisting he did not agree to the shoot.
But Pitelli has hit back, saying that only people who haven't seen the pictures were complaining.
"The shoot was beautiful," said Pitelli. "They were tasteful and anyone who saw them, I'm sure they liked them.
"Of course, I posed naked in the middle of the stadium, but there was no game and there were no children. That is the most important thing."
"No one should have to resign. Who does not like football and women?"
However, Cirino pledged to find out who was responsible for the photo shoot.
"It was not authorised by us and there should be no display in our stadium that isn't to do with sport," he said.
"There will be a thorough investigation to see who gave authorisation. We will strictly punish those responsible."
Pitelli's twice-weekly show is called "The Ronaldinha Gaucha", a feminine variation of the name of Brazil's most famous player, who is known by the double-name Ronaldinho Gaucho in his homeland to differentiate him from the many other Ronaldos and Ronaldinhos.
