Snub: Ronaldinho
He told FourFourTwo magazine: "I love to watch Cristiano go one-to-one against a player because he confuses defenders.
"Cristiano is more of a team player now. He is less selfish but still provides moments of skill which can change a game."
Kaka's Champions League masterclass for AC Milan against Manchester United last season, when he dictated midfield and scored crucial goals at Old Trafford and the San Siro, earned him his place.
"I knew he was a great player for many years, because I saw him developing at Sao Paulo," said Ronaldinho. "He was the best player on the pitch against United, always moving forward with such grace and ready to score important goals. Now he is the complete player."
Henry's summer move to the Nou Camp was hailed as a major coup by Ronaldinho, who said: "Arsenal became one of the best teams in Europe and Thierry was a major reason for that."
FourFourTwo have compiled a list of the world's top 100 players and although 34 are from the Premier League, only 14 are English.
The magazine also features the top five selections of Michael Owen (Henry, Steven Gerrard, Ronaldinho, Kaka and Messi), Liverpool striker Fernando Torres (Gerrard, Kaka, Ronaldinho, Wayne Rooney and Henry) and former Manchester United marksman Ruud van Nistelrooy (Messi, David Beckham, Kaka, Ronaldo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic).
