Rotherham administrator's plea for funding

Rotherham's administrator has made a plea for donations to help with the day-to-day running of the club while an investor is found.

Jeremy Bleazard, of XL Business Solutions, extended the deadline for offers for the League Two club on Friday by a week to April 18.

With the club's players facing the possibility of a second month of wage deferrals, a statement released by Bleazard read: "I am looking for donations, regardless of size.

"The problem any administrator faces when trading a company is that of funding the business on a day-to-day basis until completion of a sale.

"Donations can be made directly to the club. Further details can be found on the club's website."
