Roy Keane to take a trip down memory lane when Sunderland take on Cobh

Roy Keane will take Sunderland to face his first club Cobh Ramblers in his team's third Irish pre-season friendly.

Sunderland will play at Turner's Cross, the home of Cork City, on Monday, July 28. The game is expected to be a 8,000 sell-out.

Roy Keane will return to Cobh Ramblers

Keane started his career at Ramblers, who gained promotion to the Eircom League of Ireland Premier Division last season, before Brian Clough took him to Nottingham Forest in 1990.

Sunderland, who played three games in Ireland last season, including a match against Cork, will also play Athlone Town on August 7 followed by Shamrock Rovers on August 9.
