Russia coach Hiddink has doubts over star Arshavin's fitness

Guus Hiddink has praised the genius of Andriy Arshavin but admitted he is yet to decide whether to recall the playmaker for Russia's decisive clash with Sweden tomorrow.

The Zenit St Petersburg player was suspended for the first two games of Euro 2008 after being sent off in the final qualifier against Andorra.

Although Arshavin is available for the last Group D game - which Russia must win to reach the quarter-finals - a lack of match fitness means he is not guaranteed to start in Innsbruck.

Russia coach Hiddink said: "Arshavin is a footballer who can make something out of nothing. He can score from anywhere. It's very useful for our team.

"But the last match he took part in was a friendly against Lithuania . Up until then he had not played much, therefore he may not be in condition to play a whole 90 minutes. We will see."

Sweden coach Lars Lagerback is likely to recall full back Niclas Alexandersson, who has recovered from a thigh strain, in place of Fredrik Stoor.
