Harry Redknapp is reportedly the target of Russian outfit CSKA Moscow who want the Pompey boss to replace their outgoing manager Valery Gazzaev.
The Daily Mirror claims that CSKA have made contact with the former West Ham and Southampton boss and hope to tempt him to Moscow by offering him £4million a year.
Farewell wave? Redknapp could be on his way to Moscow
Redknapp, who won the FA Cup with Pompey last season, was close to a move to Newcastle last season before deciding he wanted to stay at his south-coast home.
CSKA won the 2005 UEFA Cup and have been crowned Russian Champions on 10 occasions. The Mirror also reports the club are heavily backed by Sibneft, the oil company owned by Chelsea's Roman Abramovich.
While Redknapp may wish to lead Pompey on their first European adventure following their FA Cup win, the amount of money on offer from CSKA plus the spending power he would have their will leave Redknapp with a lot to think about.
