Ruthless Ramos puts Robinson's Spurs career on the rocks

England goalkeeper Robinson has now been dropped by both club and country ahead of their most important games of the season to date and Spurs manager Juande Ramos refused to offer him any support after the match.
Out of favour: Robinson on the bench with fellow sub Paul Stalteri
Ramos said: 'He is no different to Stalteri or Boateng or the others on the bench. Only 11 can play.
'We have 25 players in the squad and those who play must make the most of their chance on the pitch. He is a good goalkeeper, which he has demonstrated in his career so far.'
Robinson lost his England place to Scott Carson for the decisive Euro 2004 qualifier against Croatia in November and Fabio Capello was in the crowd for last night's game at the Emirates Stadium to witness the loss of the keeper's Spurs place to Radek Cerny.
Asked if Robinson would be recalled on Saturday, Ramos said: 'All players will be considered. We will have to look at what we have available.'
Spurs dominated the semifinal first leg and took a firsthalf lead through Jermaine Jenas but squandered several chances and were eventually pegged back by Walcott's 79th-minute strike.
Ramos said: 'We deserved a better result but the tie lasts 180 minutes and we have played 90.
'My team played a good game and if we were a little more accurate, we could have had a better scoreline.'
Arsene Wenger admitted Spurs had been the best team and was relieved to escape with a draw after Steed Malbranque, Ledley King and Jermain Defoe all wasted good opportunities to make it 2-0 before Walcott's goal.
The Arsenal boss said: 'It was a good result for us considering Tottenham created more chances.
'It would have killed the game if it had gone to 2-0 but at 1-1 we are in a good position with a good opportunity.'
Robinson may well have played his last game for Spurs, whom he joined from Leeds in 2004, and his omission will alert Manchester City boss Sven Goran Eriksson, who is in the market for an experienced goalkeeper.
Pascal Chimbonda is also ready to leave Spurs this month, upset by the club's £8million offer for Rangers full back Alan Hutton.
Defoe claims he has been told he can leave.
On Defoe, Ramos said: 'He is, to all intents and purposes, a Tottenham player. Any private conversations I have with my players will remain in private.'
For Arsenal, the game brought more injuries — with Robin van Persie, Philippe Senderos and Johan Djourou all picking up knocks.
Walcott hobbled off after twisting his ankle but it is not thought to be serious.
Wenger said: 'Together with the three players who have left for the African Cup of Nations, we have lost seven players in two days. We have a problem in central defence. Perhaps I will have to play there.'
Van Persie was making his return from a thigh injury, but came off at half-time with the same problem.
'We will have to see if it is just a little bit of scar tissue which will keep him out for one or two days or something longer,' said Wenger.
Djourou also came off at half-time with a groin injury and Senderos struggled through the game with a knee injury.
Wenger denied that keeper Jens Lehmann had struck a deal to move to Borussia Dortmund.
'He has not agreed personal terms and we have no agreement with Dortmund,' insisted the manager.
