Saints won't risk Sculthorpe in opener

'We're erring on the side of caution,' said Saints coach Daniel Anderson, but he was quick to dispel any doubts that the former Great Britain skipper is struggling to recover from his latest injury.
Sculthorpe, 30, ruptured an achilles eight months ago. Previously he had fought his way back from two knee operations.
After missing his own testimonial last Saturday, Sculthorpe was hoping to start at Hull KR but Anderson said: 'He's been running for six weeks but hasn't been able to get into a team session where he can be a bit more dynamic.
'As soon as he's cleared by the physios for team sessions, I'll include him for selection.
'It could be next week or the week after that but we just want to make sure he plays consecutive games.'
Hull FC will give a debut to Leeds' on-loan winger Danny Williams in Friday's game at Warrington. Hull have seven players injured.
Leeds captain Kevin Sinfield has been cleared to play at Huddersfield on Sunday.
He was found guilty of a careless tackle during Leeds' win over Hull KR on Saturday but an RFL disciplinary tribunal decided no further action was necessary. Rovers' Ben Cockayne was found guilty of a similar offence and also escaped punishment.
The RFL are investigating an alleged assault on a referee by a spectator during a first-round Challenge Cup-tie. The Ince Rose Bridge and Hunslet Old Boys clash had been abandoned by Warren Turley after he sent off a fourth Hunslet player for dissent.
