Saltus quits after agonising slip-up

Saltus, winner of last year's Cambodian Open, was playing only his second shot of the first round when he slipped and dislocated his right knee, sending him crashing to the ground. "My knee sounded like a shotgun going off," he said.
Open champion Padraig Harrington could do no better than a one-over-par 72 but was one better than world No3 Phil Mickelson.
Meanwhile, Japanese schoolboy Ryo Ishikawa shot a 66 to lead the Taiheiyo Masters in Shizuoka.
The 17-year-old, who won his first tournament as a professional earlier this month, shot to fame in May 2007 when he won a Japanese event at 15 years and eight months.
