Seoul man: Wigan target striker to help crack lucrative Asian market

Targets: Wigan Athletic manager Steve Bruce

boss Steve Bruce has targeted two South Korean stars in a bid to clinch a lucrative sponsorship deal.

Park Chu-Young and Lee Chun-Soo caught the eye of Latics' scouts at the Olympics in Beijing.

And Latics chief executive Brenda Spencer and general manager John Benson visited South Korea for talks on a potential commercial tie-up in Asia, reports the Daily Mirror.

Wigan believe signing either FC Seoul striker Park or former Feyenoord midfielder Lee would help them to seal a deal.
