Sporting Lisbon goalkepeer Vladimir Stojkovic has denied walking out on Everton just an hour after starting a trial last week.
Stojkovic, 24, is currently with the Serbia squad preparing for next month’s Beijing Games.
He said: ‘Everything went fine, I didn't have any problem. I stayed there for three days, trained three times, and the coach praised me.’
It is still unlikely David Moyes will sign him as an understudy for first-choice Tim Howard.
