Sheffield United hoping to take Brown back on loan from Wigan

Michael Brown is heading back to Sheffield United on a three-month loan from Wigan.
The 31-year-old former Tottenham and Fulham midfielder will be made available by Wigan boss Steve Bruce providing United pick up his wages of over £30,000 a week.

United manager Kevin Blackwell has been given the go-ahead by his board and is confident of landing Brown.

The player is equally keen to return to Bramall Lane where he made over 150 appearances and hit 36 goals before leaving for White Hart Lane in 2004.
