Sir Alex Ferguson deserves to win Champions League trophy, says Evra

The veteran Scottish manager is hoping to win the competition for a second time on Wednesday when they face Chelsea in the final.
Respect: Evra and Ferguson
Victory in Moscow would see United clinch the double after they retained their Barclays Premier League crown.
It was the 10th time Ferguson delivered the title to Old Trafford and now Evra is keen for his boss to be celebrating again.
"I think a manager like him deserves to win the Champions League more than once," said the France full-back.
"This is why I hope that we can deliver the gift of the trophy to him out of respect for what he has done for Manchester United.
"In 20 years at the club he has won 10 titles but I think the Champions League is very important for him."
Evra is also keen to finally blow away the blues of four years ago as he has never forgotten what it was like to lose the final to Porto in 2004 when he was playing for Monaco.
The 27-year-old is now determined to go one step further and win the biggest prize in European club football.
He said: "Since I lost the final it has been been in my mind every day and I want to cancel out this bad memory.
"I cannot just play this game. I need to win this game and I do not care if it is Chelsea or another team.
"We have to go there and play our game and enjoy the moment because it's unbelievable to play in the Champions League final.
"I think the team that wins will be the one that plays with the most fighting spirit.
"I hope we show that we have more character than Chelsea and get the victory."
Evra wants United and Chelsea to put on a show and emphasise how much the game has progressed in his two years in England.
He said: "I feel like I started another job when I came here. You see the fans, the intensity of the game.
"Every team is physically strong. For me playing in England is the best football in this world.
"Now I hope Manchester United and Chelsea show that in the final of the Champions League.
"When I arrived a lot of people told me football in England is just 'kick the ball away' but now I laugh because the football is the best in the world.
"To have four teams in the quarter-finals is unbelievable and I think you have to congratulate all of English football."
Evra has one year left on his contract and his agent is due to talk to United soon about a new deal.
For the moment, though, he does not want to be distracted from his big date in Russia.
Evra added: "A meeting is due but for now I'm concentrating on winning the Champions League."
