Smaller teams play long ball against us, Chelsea's Kalou expects aerial bombardment from QPR

Salomon Kalou has a good idea of the tactics Queens Park Rangers will use in their FA Cup clash at Stamford Bridge.

The Chelsea striker said: "When you play against smaller teams they try to win by playing long.

"So if you also play long they are happy for you to do that.

"That's what they want."

Meanwhile Frank Lampard today handed Chelsea a major boost by insisting he will sign a contract at the end of the season that will see him stay at the club for the rest of his career.

Lampard has only 18 months left on his current deal. The 29-year-old postponed contract talks in August after admitting that there had been 'problems' during negotiations.

There was speculation Chelsea had refused to meet his demands of parity with Michael Ballack and Andriy Shevchenko on £130,000-a-week.

And the midfielder, who is the eighth highest scorer in Chelsea's history with 99 goals, has been constantly linked with a move abroad, usually to Barcelona or Juventus.

But Lampard is adamant he won't play for anyone else and said: "I just want to do one thing and that is stay at this club for the rest of my career."
