Sorensen arrives at Stoke on a free transfer after being released by Villa

have signed Denmark keeper Thomas Sorensen on a three-year contract. The 32-year-old had been on trial after he was released by and joins new recruits Dave Kitson and Seyi Olofinjana at the Britannia Stadium.
Manager Tony Pulis said: 'Thomas is a fantastic acquisition. He has played almost 400 Premier League games and the fact that we have got him on a free transfer too is superb business for us.'
Great Dane: Goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen has joined Stoke City on a free transfer.
Meanwhile, Villa and Portsmouth have been linked with a move for Espanyol's £5m-rated keeper Carlos Kameni.
The Cameroon captain, 24, whose move to Spurs fell through this summer, has also been watched by Manchester United who he faces in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's testimonial on Saturday.
