Sports reporter attacked live on air

Police are on the hunt for two Brisbane Bronco fans after a sports reporter was beat up live on air.

Ben Davis was reporting for the Seven network outside Olympic Park following the Melbourne Storm's NRL qualifying win over Brisbane.

Suddenly, one fan flew in to tackle hime while another started to punch him in the back of the head.

Davis told his attackers: 'Mate, do I come into your workplace and tackle you and carry on like a goose?' which only led to three more Bronco fans joining in the beating.
