Spurs boss Ramos ready to offer Chimbonda in fresh bid to land Hutton

Spurs boss Juande Ramos is set to make a second bid to sign Rangers defender Alan Hutton.

The right-back snubbed a move to north London after the two clubs had agreed a £8m fee for the 23-year-old.

Hutton wanted to keep his options open, with Manchester United and Newcastle also linked with the Scottish international.

But Rangers have not received any other approaches in the January transfer window and Ramos is ready to make a fresh move.

He could offer Pascal Chimbonda in a player plus cash deal with the Frenchman keen to leave White Hart Lane after falling out of favour.
