Steven Gerrard set to for Liverpool comeback against Marseille

Steven Gerrard will return for Liverpool in tomorrow's Champions League qualifier at home to Marseille.

The skipper missed Saturday's draw with Fulham after sustaining a groin muscle tear the previous weekend against Bolton.

Gerrard trained today and has now been named in the squad for a match that will see Liverpool progress to the last 16 if they win.

Manager Rafael Benitez said: "It's always important to have quality players available and players who can change games, so clearly Steven's return will be a boost for us."
