Strike pair can lead Gunners to European glory

The Gunners buried the memory of Saturday's Premier League defeat by Hull by sweeping aside Porto 4-0 at Emirates Stadium last night,
Adebayor and Van Persie each scoring a brace as Arsene Wenger's side went top of Group G.
Dutchman Van Persie has struggled with injury in recent years but in nine games with the Togo forward this season, the duo have netted 11 goals.
And Adebayor claims they are developing an understanding that can land trophies. "Robin and I are working hard for the team," said the 24-year-old.
"We are here to help this team win something so I am pleased with the way he played last night.
"I give him a pass, he gives me a pass so this means there is a good relationship between him and me."
Wenger made just one change to the team that suffered the shock loss to Hull — the fit-again Samir Nasri replacing Emmanuel Eboue — and Adebayor said the players were desperate to prove themselves again.
He said: "I don't think we were nervous before the match. But, as a player, it was very difficult [after the Hull game] and it was important we showed a little bit of personality. I hope we are back on track."
