Struggling Rangers make double swoop

QPR have agreed deals of £2million for Sunderland's Daryl Murphy and £150,000 for Watford midfielder Gavin Mahon.

Republic of Ireland striker Murphy, 24, has been out of Roy Keane's first team since November but scored five goals in the last eight games of their Championship-winning season.

Mahon, 30, was axed by Watford for Tuesday's win at Colchester after being subbed in his three previous games.
