Sturrock demands £3m for Halmosi in attempt to scare off Tigers

Plymouth manager Paul Sturrock wants £3m for Hungarian winger Peter Halmosi — in a bid to scare off Premier League new boys Hull City. Hull opened the bidding at around £1.8m but may have to add a squad player in exchange.

Hull are also keen to sign Spurs' defender Anthony Gardner in a £500,000 deal providing they can convince the 27-year-old to move north. Stoke are also keen.
