Sven Goran Eriksson warns Fabio Capello, you must win every game with England or face the national hatred

Sven Goran Eriksson last night warned Fabio Capello he must win every game as England manager — or face becoming a national hate figure.

Eriksson spent five years in charge of England before handing over to the ill-fated Steve McClaren in 2006.

Eriksson: Pointing the way for Capello

'For Capello to live well in England he will have to win, win and win again,' said the Manchester City boss. 'To sum it up, he'll need to win all the time. Every single match — even the friendlies.

'To defend himself from the criticism, he will need to avoid reading the newspapers. That is what I used to do.'
