Mexico coach Sven Goran Eriksson has revealed he will seek the advice of former Tricolor bosses ahead of their World Cup qualifiers next month.
Eriksson will take charge of the national team for the first time when they host Honduras on August 20 in Group Two of the third round of qualifying.
Swede dreams for Mexico: Eriksson (left) poses with assistant coaches Francisco Ramirez (second from left) Hans Backe (second from right) and Alberto Aguilar during a news conference in Mexico City on Thursday
In a press conference yesterday, the former England and Manchester City coach confirmed he will talk to former Mexico managers Hugo Sanchez and Ricardo Lavolpe ahead of the match.
'It's very probable that I will talk to them because being given different opinions is always important,' he said.
At the press conference Eriksson also revealed his Mexico-born assistants with Francisco Ramirez to act as his assistant.
In addition to Ramirez, Eriksson named the rest of his backroom staff with Jorge Romo (head doctor), Joaquin Ledesma (team doctor) and Alberto Aguilar (goalkeeping coach) joining his usual assistants Hans Backe and Tord Grip.
