'I know what he's going through. It will take a long time but I'm sure he'll get back to playing,' said Hutton, who broke both bones in his lower leg while playing for Rangers almost three years ago.

Moment of impact: Martin Taylor goes in hard on Eduardo
'I've still got a metal rod in my right leg and one screw,' said the £9million January signing. 'The airport metal detector bleeps. I'm sick of hearing "have you got any change in your pocket?" when the alarm goes off.'
One day Eduardo will hopefully be able to look back on his injury with a similar sense of humour. But for now Hutton is aware of the doubts and fears that must be racing through the Croatia striker's head following the injury at Birmingham on Saturday.
'I saw it again on the highlights and I was cringing,' he said. 'Then I remembered about the next day when I was lying in hospital and saw all the papers. I could see how far my leg was round.
Flashback: Alan Hutton in agony after his double leg-break with Rangers in 2005
'I was out for a year and then it was another good half a year before I was back playing properly. There was definitely a point when I questioned if I was going to come back. All the hard work paid off and I just need to look at the position I am in now to realise that.'
The 23-year-old revealed that his drawn-out decision to join Spurs last month was down to considerations for his pregnant wife Kylie and son Louis.
'It was just too big to decide overnight, not only for myself, so I just asked for time,' he said. 'I had been at Rangers my whole career. I didn't take it lightly and thankfully my wife was behind me.'
