That’s rich, Birmingham

The race to assume control of Birmingham City has taken a dramatic twist after Britain's richest man registered an interest in buying the club.

Lakshmi Mittal, a London-based billionaire steel magnate, has made a tentative enquiry about acquiring the club rivalling the offer of an unnamed businessman from the Far East at the weekend.
