Thaxton out to end Khan circus

Amir Khan has been told to "put up or shut up" by British lightweight champion Jon Thaxton.

Khan, 20, defeated Willie Limond on Saturday and is expected to be crowned world champion by the age of 21.

But Thaxton, 32, said: "I want Khan to be a man. I've got the British title, he's got the Commonwealth title, so let's put them both on the line.

"I personally think it's a bit of a circus.

"I am the man to end it."
