(INSIDER'S RATING: 0/5 means this deal's pie in the sky. 5/5 and it's a done deal)
Finally on his way: Aston Villa skipper Gareth Barry
Gareth Barry, to - The Insider says: 5/5
Despite all their protestations Aston Villa are still negotiating with Liverpool over their captain's £19million move to Anfield. The Reds are working on restructuring the finances of the deal to include the payments of two instalments after the midlanders moved the goalposts once again. This transfer will continue to rumble on, but Liverpool will get their man - eventually.
Pennant
Jermaine Pennant, to - The Insider says: 5/5
The winger's move to Rovers will be completed in the next 24 hours as Liverpool push through the transfer in order to help their cash-flow in financing the Anfield arrivals of Robbie Keane and Gareth Barry. Paul Ince sees Pennant as a key addition as Blackburn go for Europe this season.
Bywater
Stephen Bywater, Derby to - Insider says: 5/5
This is a done deal. Derby's second-choice stopper has become Tottenham's reserve keeper in a £300,000 transfer. Bywater, who couldn't get a game for hapless County last season, will be Heurelho Gomes understudy at White Hart Lane.
Campo
Ivan Campo, to - Insider says: 3/5
The Spanish veteran was destined for Real Sociedad but his head has been turned by a potential link-up with former Wanderers coach Phil Brown, now the Tigers' manager. Campo's capture would see brown building a spine of experienced talent at the KC Stadium after Hull's signing of Middlesbrough midfielder George Boateng earlier this summer.
Moutinho
Joao Moutinho, Sporting Lisbon to - Insider says 4/5
Everton are still £4million off Sporting's valuation of Portugal's Euro 2008 star and, although Toffees boss David Moyes is concerned the youngster is not worth £16m, a deal is near.
Meite
Abdoulaye Meite, to -
Insider says: 3/5
Bolton rejected the newly promoted side's new offer, which is still £1million short of Wanderers' £3m valuation. Hull, and their former Bolton coach Phil Brown, are still monitoring the situation, hoping to steal in for a bargain if the chance presents itself.
