Joe Cole, Chelsea to Liverpool - Insider says 1/5

Liverpool's financial problems and Chelsea's reluctance to sell to their rivals will make a transfer for Joe Cole to Anfield unlikely. Aston Villa and a host of other European clubs would be interested but the England midfielder won't go cheap and is keen to continue playing at the top level.

Seb Larsson, Birmingham to Everton - Insider says 2/5

Larsson has made no secret he sees his future away from Birmingham but he is down on the list of priorities for Everton manager David Moyes as the Scotsman works hard to bring in three or four players before next week. However, several Premier League clubs are monitoring the former Arsenal midfielder and could yet bid.

The Monaco striker is one of several potential targets for Tottenham as they look to cover Dimitar Berbatov's departure to Manchester United.
