(INSIDER'S RATING: 0/5 means this deal's pie in the sky. 5/5 and it's a done deal)
Rocha
Ricardo Rocha, Tottenham to Hull - The Insider says: 1/5
Tigers boss Phil Brown met the 29-year-old defender and called the deal off there and then because Rocha did not meet the manager's height requirements. Bizarrely, Brown hoped that the Portuguese would have the presence to stand up to Hull's expected battering this season. Hull's pursuit of Pompey midfielder Sean Davis has also floundered at the medical exam stage.
Ronaldinho
Ronaldinho, Barcelona to Manchester City - Insider says: 3/5
AC Milan sources claim that talks will resume with the Brazilian's agent brother Roberto de Assis after he had a difference of opinion with the Italian's transfer negotiator Adriano Galliani. But City are the only club to have made a firm offer for Ronaldinho. The striker does not favour a move to Manchester but he hasn't helped his cause by not turning up for a pre-season medical exam at the Nou Camp - Eastlands may be his only option. AC Milan are chasing Emmanuel Adebayor and St Etienne's Bafetimbi Gomis and may struggle to fund a move for Ronaldinho as well, despite cashing in on Ronaldo's transfer to Flamengo.
Boateng
George Boateng, Middlesbrough to Hull - Insider says: 5/5
The Holland veteran was today undergoing a medical at the KC Stadium and will have one final season in the Premier League with newly promoted Hull. Terms have been agreed and he'll add some experienced steel to the Tigers' spine.
Pennant
Jermaine Pennant, Liverpool to Blackburn - Insider says: 3/5
Rovers have sounded out Liverpool with a £4million offer for the former England winger but Anfield officials are still holding out for their £6m valuation. A compromise is likely as the Reds need cash to fund the transfers of Robbie Keane (£20m, Spurs) and Gareth Barry (£18m, Aston Villa).
Bentley
David Bentley, Blackburn to Tottenham - Insider says: 4/5
A meeting between Blackburn and Spurs will today thrash out a deal for the England winger. Expect the fee to be in the region of £17million with Tottenham offering goalkeeper Paul Robinson as a sweetener. White Hart Lane officials are also likely to raise the potential transfer of Roque Santa Cruz at the same meeting. Rumour has it that Blackburn are willing to offload the Paraguayan.
Carson
Scott Carson, Liverpool to Stoke - Insider says: 4/5
West Brom and Middlesbrough are also interested but the Premier League new boys are the closest to meeting Liverpool's £6million valuation. A loan deal is still a possible compromise - Carson fears being stranded at Stoke, a club he doesn't really want to sign for.
