Forlan
Diego Forlan, Atletico Madrid to - The Insider says: 2/5
Madrid's valuation of the former striker remains silly - £25million. But Spurs may be able to strike a bargain compromise of around £16m and throw in some unwanted players to sweeten the deal for the Spanish side. Roque Santa Cruz and Diego Milito, however, remain ahead of Forlan in Spurs' list of targets.
Belhadj
Nadir Belhadj, Lens to - Insider says: 4/5
A loan deal for the Algeria defender will solve Harry Redknapp's problems down the left flank. With Pompey's reported budget problems, a loan is all that can be achieved for the 26-year-old despite Lens pressing for a £3.5million permanent transfer.
Tiago
Tiago, Juventus to - Insider says: 3/5
The Toffees are inching closer to a loan deal (including a substatial fee) for the Portugal midfielder. Juventus will sanction the move with the condition that the 27-year-old's stay at Goodison will eventually be made permanent eventually for £8million.
Harper
James Harper, Reading to - Insider says 4/5
Boro boss Gareth Southgate has increased his offer to £5million for the midfielder but that figure is still £1m short of the Royals valuation. Championship club Reading are keen to have their expectations realised as Arsenal are due a large chunk of any fee. Bolton are maintaining an interest, hoping to pounce should Boro fail to seal the deal.
Gibbs
Kieran Gibbs, to Reading - Insider says 5/5
The Gunners will lend Reading their 18-year-old prospect for a season to gain experience and first-team football as a replacement for Nicky Shorey.
