(INSIDER'S RATING: 0/5 means this deal's pie in the sky. 5/5 and it's a done deal)
Pavlyuchenko
Roman Pavlyuchenko, Spartak Moscow to Tottenham - The Insider says: 4/5
Manchester United are interested, but they want to tie up Dimitar Berbatov first.
The champions also like the look of Roque Santa Cruz at Blackburn but, while the Red Devils concentrate their efforts elsewhere, Spurs will steal in with a £12million move and bag one of the stars of Euro 2008. The centre forward is keen on a move to the capital and is match-fit as the Russian league is well under way.
Santa Cruz
Roque Santa Cruz, Blackburn to Manchester City - Insider says: 3/5
Spurs and Manchester United are both still interested in Rovers' Paraguay striker but City boss mark Hughes is confident that he can capture his former charge. Santa Cruz remains top of City's transfer targets and has settled well in the north-west. Expect City to try a £12million bid in the next week. Paul Ince may find that difficult to resist.
Benayoun
Yossi Benayoun, Liverpool to Manchester City - Insider says: 2/5
The Israel midfielder is another on Mark Hughes' list of target but Liverpool are reluctant to sell now that they have . West Ham registered an interest in their former fans' favourite yesterday but the Anfield club will resist the Londoners' overtures as well.
Gorkss
Kaspars Gorkss, Blackpool to QPR - Insider says: 5/5
This deal is done. Rangers have invoked the Latvia defender's release clause with a £250,000 bid. Blackpool will receive Daniel Nardiello (permanently) and Zesh Rehman (on loan) as part of the deal. Gorkss, 26, scored six goals in 50 appearances for Seasiders.
