AN 82-year-old Ghana fan has offered his granddaughter to Nottingham Forest striker Junior Agogo for firing his country into the last four of the African Nations Cup.
Agogo was mobbed at the host team's hotel in Accra after netting the decider in Ghana's 2-1 win over Nigeria.
The old man, who gave his name as Nana, told the forward: 'I came here last night with my very beautiful granddaughter to introduce her. She is all yours!'
Agogo said: 'The fans show me so much love.'
KEVIN BLACKWELL has landed a consultancy role with French side Paris Saint-Germain.
The former Luton boss — who is in the running for the vacant manager's position at Southampton — will advise the club on the benefits of adopting a long-term strategy.
PSG approached Blackwell due to his experiences at Luton and Leeds, who both fell into administration after failing to cope with crippling debts.
CLIVE CLARKE has left Sunderland and is set to retire amid fears over his health.
The Irish defender, 28, suffered a heart attack while on loan at Leicester in August.
He was given life-saving treatment after collapsing at half-time, had a pacemaker fitted and has not played a game since.
Clarke recently said he was approaching full fitness but admitted doctors had been unable to diagnose why he had almost died in the dressing room.
