Tottenham boss Ramos: It's the perfect time to face Chelsea

Ready for action? Ramos will make a late decision on Berbatov
Juande Ramos believes the task of ending daunting home record comes at the perfect time as look to ease fears they are in crisis.
Tottenham lost vice-captain Robbie Keane to Liverpool last month, and Dimitar Berbatov wants to leave for Manchester United, a factor which head coach Ramos feels has contributed to defeats in their first two Barclays Premier League matches.
It does not get any easier tomorrow with a trip to face Luiz Felipe Scolari's Chelsea, given the Blues have not lost a league match at Stamford Bridge in February 2004 when they were defeated by Arsenal.
Ramos told Spurs TV Online: "The players are very aware of the fact that we need to get some points on the board, Chelsea coming at this time is a great fixture for us to lift the spirits.
"You know you are playing against one of the top sides in the league and that spurs you on."
Chelsea's record spans 84 games and four managers, but Ramos has promised to attack rather than 'park the bus' in front of the goal as his predecessor, Martin Jol, was accused of doing.
Berbatov being psychologically unfit to face Sunderland last week left Ramos with one out-and-out striker, but the Spaniard is determined to attack Chelsea.
He said: "If you go there and try to put everyone behind the ball and defend that it is likely to end in defeat.
"The important thing is to go there and play attacking, ambitious football.
"If you go there and show character and attack, that is the way forward."
Ramos has a decent record against top-four opposition and Tottenham have beaten Chelsea - in the Carling Cup final - and Arsenal since his arrival at White Hart Lane last season.
They also took points against Manchester United, although Middlesbrough and Sunderland took advantage of the chaos in the dressing room during the first two Saturdays of the season.
Winger Aaron Lennon said: "You should treat everyone the same but sometimes you put in the better performances against the better clubs. The whole team does as well as me.
"Chelsea will definitely be a bit wary of us because we've tended to do well against them recently, especially in the Carling Cup final last season."
Lennon is hoping for a repeat of the result two seasons ago at White Hart Lane when he scored the winner to end a 16-year hoodoo in league matches against Chelsea.
"It was one of the most important goals of my career," Lennon said.
"I wasn't really scoring goals at the time and there was a lot said about it, so the importance of the goal meant a lot to the fans, club and me as well."
Lennon has been played on the right flank so far this season, with fellow winger David Bentley shifted inside. Bentley is also determined to get Tottenham's season up and running.
Bentley said: "We've not been good enough, with the players we've had we've been more than capable of winning our first two games.
"Everyone has a bad run through the season and hopefully this is it and getting a result against Chelsea can kick-start our season.
"I've looked at the fixtures and we've got a run of games we can get results in.
"It's about belief, you go out with the right mentality to get the result. We've got players to put on a real show but we've got to earn the right to do so.
"We might need to be more harder to beat. It will come right. It's not too early to get disheartened.
"Chelsea have got a way of playing that looks really good but every team can be beaten."
