Tottenham line up Russian star as Blackburn eye Huddlestone

Blackburn Rovers are monitoring Tottenham midfielder Tom Huddlestone.

The People says Rovers boss Mark Hughes is pondering a move for the England U21 powerhouse.

Meanwhile, Andrey Arshavin is a target for Spurs according to weekend reports in the People.

The 26-year-old left-winger currently plays for Zenit St Petersburg, his only professional club to date.

He has also been a regular in the Russian side since his debut in 2002.

Arshavin was watched in the UEFA Cup recently and should line up against England in the crucial Euro 2008 qualifier next week.
