Tour de France cyclist Landis fails drugs appeal - two-year ban upheld

The Court of Arbitration for Sport have thrown out Floyd Landis's appeal to regain the 2006 Tour de France title and upheld his two-year drugs ban.

Landis, who was suspended from the sport after testing positive for elevated levels of testosterone, was also ordered yesterday to pay £50,000 to the United States Anti-Doping Agency.
