Track coach coach Trevor Graham found guilty of lying to investigators

Track coach Trevor Graham has been found guilty on one count of lying to investigators about his relationship with a steroids dealer.

A jury failed to reach a verdict on two other counts he was charged with.

Graham joined former cyclist Tammy Thomas as the second person to get convicted at trial in the Bay Area Laboratory Co-Operative (BALCO) doping scandal.

Thomas also was found guilty of lying to a federal investigator when she denied taking steroids.

Graham was one of the central figures in the BALCO investigation.

In 2003, he sent federal investigators a vial of then undetectable steroid - 'the clear' which was traced back to BALCO.
