Turner's Earners - Mighty Man on track to score again

The son of Sir Harry Lewis is unbeaten in two starts at the track, both under today's pilot Richard Johnson, who has yet to finish out the frame when partnering the seven-yearold in 12 starts. The prevailing decent ground should also play to his strengths as he illustrated in last season's renewal of this race.

Looking for a hat-trick: Mighty Man has a great chance at Aintree today, according to Sam Turner
A seven-length defeat of My Way de Solzen was a terrific effort, especially as it came hard on the heels of a solid run behind that rival in the World Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival.
His supporters will be hoping history can repeat itself as he bids to bounce back from another honourable World Hurdle defeat, this time by Inglis Drever, and his track stats suggest he should go close to completing a hattrick of victories at today's venue.
DUSKY WARBLER (Aintree, nap, 5.30) was only beaten a length by Mighty Man in a Graded Novices' Hurdle here two seasons ago and I thought he shaped with promise in the Coral Cup last time.
It looks like trainer Gary Moore has had this race in mind for his gelding all season and the refitting of cheekpieces could well be a statement of intent.
He was entitled to need that first run of the season at Cheltenham and could be some value to land a tricky finale.
Many punters will feel that KATCHIT (Aintree, 3.10) is vulnerable away from Cheltenham where he has won his last four races, including the Triumph Hurdle by an impressive nine lengths.
Connections of Punjabi will certainly believe a flat track and fast ground will better suit their charge who ran with the choke out for much of the Triumph Hurdle before fading into fourth.
However, there is no reason the ultragame and consistent Katchit should not prove equally as effective at Aintree and Alan King's team remain in excellent form.
I'm always reluctant to lay the mounts of John Thomas McNamara in amateur races and the Irishman again proved his prowess at the Cheltenham Festival aboard Drombeag (3.45).
However, it will require all of his skills to repeat the win on the gelding today as he tried to run out after the water jump before falling at the 14th in the Fox Hunters', run over the Grand National fences, 12 months ago.
