Turner's Earners: Michita looks magic in Oaks - today's top racing tips

Make it MICHITA (Epsom, nap, 4.05) to strike for the home team in this afternoon's intriguing renewal of the Juddmonte Oaks.
John Gosden's filly thrust herself into the picture for the second female Classic of the season with a polished success in a Goodwood trial a fortnight ago, after which her handler immediately nominated today's Group One event as her next target.
Classic contender: Gosden
A concerted Irish challenge has been building momentum in recent days with the likes of Musidora Stakes winner Lush Lashes, the unbeaten Chinese White, Katiyra and the Aidan O'Brien sextet all providing a major stumbling block for Michita supporters.
However, the daughter of Dynamformer will have learned a lot from a spin around Goodwood's contours and the drying ground at Epsom will help a filly who displayed a terrific turn of foot to score last time.
Lush Lashes earned a terrific speed figure when quickening to a scintillating Musidora Stakes win at York with Cape Amber five lengths adrift in second. She is another who will appreciate a dry spell and, although her trainer has not endeared himself to punters this season, his horses continue to be friends of racegoers on both sides of the Irish sea.
Katiyra is also sure make a giant leap forward on her first try at 12 furlongs, while Chinese White heads to Epsom on the back of a highly impressive staying performance at Gowran Park.
But Michita looks great value at the 12-1 on offer this morning to give Gosden another big-race success.
An excellent support card also features the Juddmonte Coronation Cup and what appears a fascinating duel between Getaway and SOLDIER OF FORTUNE (Epsom, 3.25).
Preference is narrowly for the latter who goes well fresh and has valuable experience of the track courtesy of his creditable fifth place in last year's Derby.
He wound up the campaign with a fine run in the Arc and is taken to add another Group One to his Irish Derby success.
Getaway is held in high regard by Andre Fabre, who farmed this race in the Nineties and saddled Shirocco to score two years ago.
He is clearly a huge danger but is priced accordingly and Soldier Of Fortune may represent better value. Today's lay is Clowance (Epsom, 4.05).
EACH-WAY OPTION - KOOL KATIE (Wolverhampton, 4.25) The Geraldine Rees-trained filly was not beaten far at Haydock last time despite making a slow start in a race that has worked out nicely. She drops a couple of grades here and should go close.
ROBIN GOODFELLOW'S DOUBLE: Michita (Epsom, nap, 4.05) and Woolston Ferry (Goodwood, 6.45)
GIMCRACK'S DOUBLE: Toy Top (Catterick, 3.00) and Peppertree Lane (Goodwood, nap, 7.20)
CAPTAIN HEATH'S NAP: Getaway (Epsom, 3.25)
FORMCAST SPECIAL BET: Daniel Thomas (Goodwood, 6.15)
THE WIZARD: Blessed Place (Wolverhampton, 2.35)
WORK WHISPER: Muftarres (Doncaster, 8.45)
BURNT FINGERS: Iguazu Falls (Epsom, 4.50)
