Two remain for Godolphin after Fast Company is ruled out of 2,000 Guineas

Godolphin pulled out Fast Company after a blood test showed he was not 100 per cent and a question mark hangs over the participation of the Aidan O'Brien-trained Jupiter Pluvius after a dramatic drift in the betting.

Ruled out: Fast Company (right) misses Rowley Mile engagement, but Ibn Khaldun (left) remains in the Guineas line-up
Fast Company was second to New Approach in last season's Dewhurst Stakes.
Simon Crisford, Godolphin racing manager, said: 'He had a poor blood count. He is in the French Guineas (next weekend) which may come too quick and the Irish Guineas. We'll give him all the time he needs to recover.'
Crisford said the news was unlikely to lead to a change of plan for French Guineas-bound Rio De La Plata, leaving Frankie Dettori's mount Ibn Khaldun as their sole Newmarket representative.
The news is a double blow for jockey Ted Durcan. Having seen one fancied mount in Twice Over pulled out, Racemail had only revealed yesterday that he had been lined up for the ride on Fast Company.
Meanwhile, Jupiter Pluvius took a walk in the market after money poured in on stablemate Henrythenavigator, the expected mount of stable jockey Johnny Murtagh.
Murtagh insisted that 'no decision had been made' on his ride, but bookmaking jungle drums appeared to be beating out a clear message.
Totesport were the most drastic, pushing out unbeaten Jupiter Pluvius from 9-1 to 12-1 on the back of rumours that he had not galloped well enough to return to action in the red-hot cauldron of a Classic.
Their spokesman Damien Walker said: 'We haven't struck a bet for Jupiter Pluvius in days and he is now twice the price he was this time last week while during the same period Henrythenavigator, who is now 10-1, has shortened dramatically with us.'
Totesport now have Raven's Pass at 3-1, Ibn Khaldun at 5s and Free Handicap winner Stimulation at 14-1. O'Brien's Plan, who is the likely mount of Mick Kinane, is 25-1.
