United and Rovers set to battle Arsenal for Ghana star Annan

Arsenal could face competition from Premier League rivals Manchester United and Blackburn as well as Spanish side Racing Santander if they want to land Ghanaian midfielder Anthony Annan.

The 22-year-old, who plays for Norway side Start, was on trial at Rovers last week but Arsenal and United are also keen to see him in action.
