Sir Alex Ferguson is said to be furious that new Chelsea boss Luiz Felipe Scolari has been advising Cristiano Ronaldo to quit Manchester United.
Scolari, who takes over at Stamford Bridge after leading Portugal at Euro 2008, would delight his new employees if he convinced Ronaldo to leave Old Trafford for Real Madrid.
And the Brazilian coach's advice that Ronaldo would regret missing a move to the Bernabeu has angered United, according to reports.

And the Daily Mirror quotes Alan Shearer as saying: "The interesting thing for me now is does Cristiano Ronaldo go to him for advice on where he should go? Does he stay in England or go to Spain? I know what Scolari's advice to him might be now."
United have reported Real Madrid to FIFA over a very public courtship of the Portugal stars. Reports in Spain suggest a deal could be reached for a fee of about £70million.
