Last weekend saw the UK and the world’s top athletes compete at the Aviva London Grand Prix – which for most, was the final competition before the Beijing Olympics just two weeks away.
The Aviva London Grand Prix at Crystal Palace was arguably this season’s strongest athletics meeting outside the Olympics, featuring many of the world’s best athletes, and crucial for them as they finalise their preparations and gauge their form against the competition.
Bolt achieved the UK All Comers record of 19.84, previously held by American world champion Tyson Gay, who would be one of Bolt's strongest rivals if the Jamaican decides to compete in the 100 metres in Beijing.
This encouraging win has tipped Bolt for gold at the upcoming Olympics.
Marilyn Okoro stormed to 800m victory at Crystal Palace on Saturday
Okoro's win in the 800 metres was a top highlight at the Aviva London Grand Prix at Crystal Palace.
Not only was she put fourth on the UK all-time list, she also broke her personal best by a third of a second to post 1min 58.46sec.

Martyn Rooney ran a personal best taking him to just below the world’s top ten. His impressive time of 44.83 seconds in the 400 metres was all down to the quality field he competed on, putting him in good shape for the Beijing Olympics.
Kelly Sotherton, the 31-year-old from Birmingham took first in the 4 Event Challenge.
