Villa ready to make fresh £7m bid for Reo-Coker

Martin O'Neill is launching a fresh £7m bid for West Ham skipper Nigel Reo-Coker.
This comes as Manchester City have upped their interest in Reo-Coker despite O'Neill's summer-long pursuit.

Eastlands manager-in-waiting Sven-Goran Eriksson is reported to want the England under-21 star after the Hammers rejected Villa's initial bid.
O'Neill is confident he can rush through a deal for the 23-year-old who is heading off on holiday tomorrow.
Villa report for pre-season training next week and Reo-Coker, who cost West Ham £575,000 in 2004, is believed to be very keen to make the switch.
He is also very keen to leave Upton Park with new signing Scott Parker ready to replace him.
