Walcott: I'm not going anywhere

Staying put: Theo Walcott sees no reason why he should go on loan from Arsenal

Theo Walcott has revealed he has no interest in a loan move away from Arsenal.

Manager Arsene Wenger rejected enquiries last week from Liverpool and Blackburn who wanted to take Walcott for the rest of the season.

But Walcott said: "I don't think there's a reason for me to go on loan. I want to push myself every day here at Arsenal and try and get in the first team as often as I can and play well when I'm in the team.

"And with respect to other clubs, I train here with some of the best players in the world and that's not going to happen at other places.

"My game is obviously going to benefit the most from being around these players. And Arsenal is such a fantastic club anyway, I just want to show people what I can do here."
