Warner's heroics deny Lee first point

Warner committed a schoolboy howler when he dropped the wet ball to present former Fulham striker Heidar Helguson with a simple tap-in after 12 minutes.

But after Northern Ireland striker David Healy grabbed his second goal in two Premier League starts and Alexei Smertin had shot them ahead,Warner came to the rescue.
Nicolas Anelka curled a shot towards the top right corner just before the hour, only for Warner to take off to his left and somehow keep it out.
It was enough to condemn new Bolton boss Lee to his second straight defeat and with no points on the board the pressure is growing.
Lee groaned: "I've known Tony since I coached him as a youngster at Liverpool and he's always been capable of making saves like that, so I'm not surprised. I'm disappointed because no manager worth his salt wants to have two defeats at the start of the season.
"And the longer you go without a win, the harder it gets. I was delighted with the work-rate and application of my players and you don't always get what you deserve."
Warner had already performed heroics in Sunday's defeat at Arsenal, and delighted manager Lawrie Sanchez said: "Everyone knows Tony made a mistake, when he treated the ball like a bar of soap. But their keeper got away with it when he made the same mistake.
"But it was a real test of character and he made some excellent saves in the second half that kept us in the game."
Both teams went at breakneck speed into torrential rain but it was Bolton who got the break on 12 minutes. Though Warner caught Nicky Hunt's long throw, he bumped into defender Zat Knight and spilled the ball straight to Helguson who knocked it in the empty net.
Gary Speed and Anelka had shots blocked by Carlos Bocanegra before Healy equalised on 23 minutes. Full of confidence after scoring against Arsenal on Sunday, Healy swivelled and shot past Jussi Jaaskelainen after Zat Knight's header from Simon Davies' corner was helped on to the striker by Helguson.
Three minutes later, Russiamidfielder Smertin hit the winner, his shot deflecting in off Gerald Cid after Davies' free-kick was only half-cleared.
